2026 Taiwan STM: Day 3

Dear all,
Praise the Lord for completing the first day of VBS!
Today we welcomed 116 students (out of 122 registrants) to Rainforest Falls VBS. I met quite a few returning students, including some whom we served during the second week of last year's VBS in Taichung.
Overall, the day went smoothly—there were no technical issues, no major conflicts, and the students seem to be starting to bond with their crew leaders. Despite being exhausted, we had a very productive debriefing meeting and completed our dress rehearsal for tomorrow.
On the other hand, a strong typhoon is approaching Taiwan and is expected to make landfall on Thursday or Friday this week. We're monitoring it closely and praying that the weather will not affect our program, especially the Gospel outreach event on Thursday night and our final day of VBS on Friday.
We would greatly appreciate your prayers for the following:
- That the six students who were absent today will be able to join us tomorrow and for the rest of the week.
- That the adjustments we made will help the station leaders teach more effectively and help the students learn better.
- That God will provide two people to share their testimonies at Gospel Night and give them willing hearts to respond to His leading.
- That Typhoon BAVI will not affect our Gospel outreach event on Thursday night.
- That our entire team will remain healthy.

I've been greatly encouraged by the prayer emails I've received, knowing that there is an army of prayer warriors lifting us up before God day and night. Thank you for faithfully supporting us through your prayers!
Blessings,
Jenny
