2026 Taiwan STM: Day 2

Dear all,

Praise the Lord for a very productive Day 2!

This morning, our remaining five team members arrived safely at Beirong Church, completing the arrival of our STM team from the US. We began the day in God's Word, enjoyed some icebreaker games to get to know one another better, and held our crew leader training during the morning. After a delicious hot pot lunch generously provided by Beirong Church, we completed dress rehearsals for all 9 VBS songs as well as the entire VBS program.

The AV equipment is now set up, our crew leaders are ready, and after we finish decorating following Sunday worship tomorrow, we'll be all set to welcome our students on Monday!

As we entered the second day of training, I noticed a growing sense of unity, energy, and joy among our team members. I'm looking forward to seeing the amazing things God will do in the coming week.

We would greatly appreciate your prayers for:

1. That God's name will be glorified as we lead the congregation in worship with our theme song, "God Is," during Sunday's service at Beirong Church.
2. That all of the worship hall and classroom decorations will be completed smoothly.
3. That our station leaders will finish their final preparations. We've encountered a few challenges with Imagination Station, so please pray especially for its station leader, Christine, a college student from Beirong church.
4. That the AV system will be fine-tuned and function reliably throughout the entire week.

Photo of the Day: During today's icebreaker, the entire team paired up with different partners based on various criteria and shared fun facts about themselves. There was lots of moving around and laughter!
