- Pray that students will open their hearts to receive the gospel.
- Pray for consistency—that students will attend camp every day without disruptions.
- Pray for the 17 students who were absent today, that they will join us tomorrow.
- Pray that God would provide one more person to share a testimony during our gospel outreach on Friday.
Dear Prayer Warriors,
Thank you so much for your faithful prayers. We praise God that the first day of our second week of camp went smoothly!
Out of the 74 registered students, 57 attended today. We’re grateful for favorable weather during student arrival and check-in. It didn’t start raining until about 10 minutes after the opening session began. Because the ground was still dry, we were able to keep the worship hall floor dry to start the opening station smoothly in the worship hall.
As the rain grew heavier by the end of the opening, walking to the nearby school became difficult. But thank God, we had enough vehicles to quickly transport all the students. By the end of the morning session, the rain had lightened, making it much easier to bring students back to church for lunch. After lunch, the rain nearly stopped, and we were able to walk back and forth between the church and the school for the afternoon session and closing.
This evening, we had a special opportunity to learn about the indigenous Tayal tribe’s culture from Pastor Batu Temu, the pastor of the host church. He shared how the Tayal people are known for their kindness, generosity, and deep respect—traits that reflect the love of Jesus and make the Tayal community especially open to the gospel.
Please continue to lift us up in prayer:
• Pray for good weather throughout the week so students can safely walk between the church and school.
• Pray that students will open their hearts to receive the gospel.
• Pray for consistency—that students will attend camp every day without disruptions.
• Pray for the 17 students who were absent today, that they will join us tomorrow.
• Pray that God would provide one more person to share a testimony during our gospel outreach on Friday.
Blessings,
Mingyuan
