- June 7: Children’s Ministry 5th graders will be promoted to 6th grade and welcomed into Youth Ministry and English Worship. A “Bye Bye” breakfast for 5th graders and families will be from 9:15–9:45 AM near the Fellowship Hall kitchen, followed by the promotion ceremony during Children’s Worship from 10:00–10:10 AM in WH4. Parents are invited to attend and then accompany their child to English Worship.
- You are welcome to bring water in closed top containers into WH3. The table under the TV is where other drinks and food can be left before entering WH3. Thank you!
- Communion Sunday (June 7): the Lord’s Supper will be served in worship services.
- The next Session meeting will be on June 7 at 1:30pm. Please pray for the pastors and elders.
- The open area on the second floor will be used for Mandarin Sunday School classes and worship services from June through September (during the Worship Hall 2 renovation). This space will not be available for table tennis activities during that period. Please keep the renovation project in your prayers, asking the Lord to provide safety, wisdom, and smooth progress throughout the construction process.
- VBS Staff Training #1 for registered volunteer youth and adults will be on Sunday, June 7, 1:15 – 3:15pm in Worship Hall 3. Please RSVP on the Evite!
- Canaan's 2026 Vacation Bible School Summer Camp will be held from July 21 to 25, 2026 (9am to 12pm; Tuesday to Saturday). We welcome kids age 3.5 to kids entering grade 6 in Fall 2026 to join us for a fun and meaningful week. We also need Mandarin and/or English speaking volunteers (entering grade 7 in Fall 2026 to adults) to join our team to host this 5 day camp. Please visit vbs.ecanaan.org for more info.
- From 5/30 to 6/1, TAC (upstairs) is one of the Vote Centers of Santa Clara County in 2026. For safety reasons, we will lock the inner doors next to Copy Room and to Pastors’ office and the one on 2F near Door #2. Please enter from Door #1 and #4. Members who need to go to the Copy Room, please close the inner door behind you any time. If you are locked out, please enter from Door #1 and #4.
- The Love and Conflict Peacemaking Ministry will host a Couple’s Peacemaking Retreat in Mandarin on 9/5-9/7 (Labor Day weekend). A concurrent Children and Youth Peacemaking Retreat will also be available for kids and teens. To encourage couples and families to participate, the church will provide partial registration subsidies. Please scan the QR code to register and enjoy the earlybird rate by July 1.
