2025 Taiwan Short-Term Mission

From the beginning, Canaan has been a missional church, supporting missionaries and missions organizations, and actively engaging in missions work locally and globally. We have been sending short-term missionaries to Taiwan since 2004, partnering with local Christian organizations to serve underprivileged children and share the gospel, particularly focusing on the Taiwanese aborigines—raising up leaders in their communities to break out of the endless cycle of poverty and abuse. For the ongoing ministries in Taiwan, Canaan founded Taiwan Abundant Life International Development Association (TALIDA) in 2008 as a mission organization to bridge and support churches across Taiwan with international resources.

In 2025, we will send a summer Short-Term Mission Team to Taiwan to run two one-week English/Mandarin bilingual VBS (vacation bible school) camps in Chia-Yi City and Taichung City from 6/28 to 7/12. Through bible stories, fun games and science experiments, we hope to share God's love and the Gospel with the camp students, and to experience and witness God's work in Taiwan.
