Games for Children in K-5th Grade
- Obstacle Course Challenge
- How to Play: Use pillows, blankets, tunnels, chairs, and toys to create a course and mini stations for the contestants to navigate. They can crawl under, jump over, weave through, and balance on different objects. Time them for an added challenge.
- Balloon Volleyball/Badminton
- How to Play: Use a balloon instead of a ball for a much slower, safer, and less damaging game. Set up a net between two chairs. Contestants can use their hands or paper plates as rackets.
- Chopsticks Master
- How to Play: Prepare small items on one end and a basket on the other end. Use chopsticks to pick up an item at a time and run to the basket to drop the item.

Games for Children 1-4 Years Old
- Balloon "Keep It Up" / Gentle Batting
- How to Play: Use a lightweight balloon. For younger toddlers, simply encourage them to bat at it with their hands or feet to keep it in the air. For older preschoolers, they can try to keep it off the ground, or use soft paddles made from paper plates.
- Dance Party / Freeze Dance
- How to Play: Put on some upbeat, kid-friendly music. Encourage free-form dancing. For "Freeze Dance," pause the music periodically, and everyone has to freeze in place until the music starts again.
- Simple indoor race
- How to Play: Race between point A and B. Parents might need to guide the children to run.
