Game Rules
- It is a friendly competition, keep it safe and injury free. Avoid dangerous or unsafe plays.
- Please provide the team captain contact and the members of the team ahead of the competition. Once we have the teams info, we will contact you for the date and time of the game. (Let us know if you have a team name and please register as soon as you can. If you don’t have a full team, we can consider sending some extra players to your team.)
- It will be a 5v5 full court (or depending on the number of players, we may do 3v3 half court).
- First team to reach 21 points or whichever team has more points at the end of 20 minutes period wins the game (standard 2 and 3 point (behind arc) shots).
- Can have 2 minutes break/timeout after 10 minutes if both teams agree before game start.
- To encourage female participation, there’s a bonus point for every basket they make (2 becomes 3 and 3 becomes 4). Same rule applies for anyone in middle school and younger.
- Call your own fouls, honor the foul calls. A foul resets the ball for the team that had possession. If there’s an un-resolvable call, go with free throws to determine which side gets the ball. Alternate possession after that if there are more un-resolvable calls.
