Dear brothers and sisters, peace be with you all!

Today, we gather together to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Canaan Church. Throughout these years, God's grace and blessings have accompanied us every step of the way. Whether in good times or bad, we have experienced His loving kindness and faithfulness.

Looking back 45 years ago, when our family moved from Chicago to Silicon Valley, Canaan Church had only 27 members. We are grateful for God's miraculous guidance, which has enabled us to grow and prosper day by day. As the Bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We believe in God's plan, and he will accomplish it.

In the days ahead, may each of us never forget our original vision and passion, but strengthen our faith and become more aligned with His will. May we draw strength from His Word. Looking forward to the future, may we continue to walk in His light, moving forward courageously with a resolve to serve the Lord, to be the light and salt of society, to spread the good news, and to lead more people to the Lord.
