Purpose: Finding our role(s) in the Great Commission

 

The Great Commission:

 

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..." (Matthew 28:19NIV)

 

 

Mission Roles:

 

Goers: "...and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. "(Acts 1:8 NIV)

 

Senders: "The share of the man who stayed by the supplies is to be the same as that of him who went down to battle." (1 Samuel 30:24 NIV)

 

Mobilizers: "The Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 'Make two silver trumpets for yourself; . . . you shall use them for calling the congregation and for directing the movement of the camps." (Number 10:1-2 NIV)

 

Intercessors: "Ask of Me and I will give you the nations for your inheritance and the ends of the earth for your possession." (Psalms 2:8 NIV)

 

Welcomers: "The stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as one born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God." (Leviticus 19:34 NIV)
